Rockhill Insurance Group, based in Kansas City, Mo., announced it has hired Doug Goode as chief operating officer.
Goode has more than 25 years of industry experience and most recently was a senior vp with QBE North America accountable for sales strategy and new business processes. He previously frolicked at Rockhill helping to form the company during its start-up mode, becoming knowledgeable about its people and culture.
In his new role, Goode will lead and direct all marketing, business development and specialty underwriting functions, and should play a key role in policy formation and overall company strategy, reporting to Senior Vp Jessica Buss.
Rockhill is a subsidiary of the State Auto Group.
